The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced new product finder tools including Dishwashers,Geothermal Heat Pumps, Roof Products, Room Air Cleaners, and Room Air Conditioners.
The product finder tools provide consumers, partners, and interested third parties with an easily-accessible, user-friendly search tool. The product finder tools will display the same product attributes that appear on the current qualified product lists and will allow manufacturers to display additional identifying information for models such as SKUs, UPC codes, and retail model numbers. Such identifiers can make it easier for purchasers and consumers to find ENERGY STAR certified products.

2013 Solar Decathlon Comes To Irvine (Learn More)
The Orange County Great Park in Irvine will host the U.S Department of Energy 2013 Solar Decathlon. Twenty teams from universities around the world will design and construct solar-powered, energy-efficient homes.
The teams will spend the next two years designing and building the homes, which they will reassemble in a solar village at the Great Park in fall 2013. Since it began in 2002, the biennial decathlon has been held at the National Mall in Washington D.C.
